Jesus Beans Coffee was founded with the mission of encouraging people to read scripture as they start their day, thereby spreading the Words of Jesus Christ. We hope the Bible verses on our packaging inspire those who do not know Jesus to be curious and ultimately find a personal relationship with Him. We also hope those who know Jesus personally are encouraged to go deeper and become deeply rooted in the Word of God.
From a business perspective, Jesus Beans Coffee was founded as a single-person entity, yet the "We" is used on all our packaging because this journey began with prayers from many, along with tastings and support from several close friends and family.
As a reflection of our mission, we give 10% of our profits back to a few organizations we care about. You can learn more about these organizations on our "Who We Support" page. Behind Jesus Beans Coffee
My life before meeting Jesus was often filled with anxiety and depression. My life felt directionless, on paper everything seemed great, good job, great apartment, nice car but it wasn't enough.
One night everything changed. I had a vivid dream of being baptized in the San Diego Bay, Jesus was in this dream telling me I needed to be baptized or I was going to spend eternity separated from God. This dream was a clear, urgent call, like a warning to move my soul out of immediate danger. I did not know what baptism meant or what to do next, but I knew I needed to do something. I was led to Aloha Church, where I heard the story of Jesus clearly for the first time: God sent His only Son to die as me, completely removing sin from my life. In that moment, I understood the power of forgiveness. If God could forgive me, I could finally forgive myself and I needed to forgive others.
After a few weeks at church I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. Since that day, God has transformed my life and my surroundings. He has guided me out of difficult situations, and blessed me with more joy and hope than I ever thought was possible. I then started Jesus Beans Coffee because I wanted to encourage others to start their day with the Word of God and find that same joy and hope by living a life rooted in Jesus.
